A Complete Review of Our Stay at The Boutique Hotel Le Saint Pierre in the heart of Old Quebec City

Planing a trip to Quebec city can be super exciting and overwhelming as to where it could be the best place to stay and start your adventure around the city. Le Saint Pierre Auberge is a boutique hotel in the heart of old Quebec City.

Review Video of our stay at Le Saint Pierre:

The hotel is decorated with a mixture of rustic and modern style. It is the perfect place to start your journey around Quebec as it is located near endless boutiques, art galleries, delicious restaurants and the funicular, which takes you to the upper part of the old city.

I love staying in the lower part of the Quebec City as the atmosphere on the streets is less touristic and more calm, but at the same time only a few block of the main tourist attractions such as the famous Musée de la Civilisation, the Old Market, the Chateau Frontenac, and the Petit Champlain.

The peaceful atmosphere

Our favorite thing about the hotel is the amazing view you get of the city and the Chateau Frontenac from the penthouse. If you are lucky and no one is staying you can request to see the balcony of the penthouse and get the best view in town. The atmosphere in the hotel is so peaceful and calm, the staff is super nice and ready to help. They will do their best to accommodate all of your needs.

In fact, when we were there Jazmin had her special time of the month and it was too late for me to go around and look for pads. The staff was so nice to provide me enough ammunition for the next day. If you need any help planning your trip around the city or attractions, the staff are always ready to give a suggestion.

The building itself has a beautiful contrast between a rustic style but with modern touches with hardwood floors.

Boutique Guest Rooms

Le Saint Pierre has 40 guest rooms and suites and it is really easy to feel like home as it has many amenities that make this hotel an excellent option for your family vacation or romantic getaway. Each room has its own coffeemaker, a flat-screen tv, a fridge, a jacuzzi and a bathrobe. The room I stayed in was a beautiful suite with a living room, kitchen, dinner table and a separate room. The rooms have wood floors, exposed brick and stone walls and fancy touches.

Our first impression of the room was the effort put into making the room feel comfortable and cozy. We were surprised by three little chocolates waiting in the table for us. The comfortable bed had plenty of warm blankets for a chilly evening. The bathroom included a set a bathrobes, so fluffy, you might just not want to leave your room all day.

High-end Services

I have been in more hotels that I can count and this has been the first time that I felt home with a personal chef for breakfast. The made to order breakfast is included in your reservation but you can choose from over 10 different options. Some of them will have an additional charge, but the waffles are worth the extra cash!

In the lobby there is free coffee or tea all day. Some of my favorite amenities were the small gym, free internet in the whole building, the computer for guest use and the meeting rooms. If you are thinking about taking your experience to the next level you could arrange an in-room massage and if you have kids they can help you set up a babysitting arrangement for you to enjoy a night out in the city.

For your next trip to Canada look no further than the Le Saint Pierre Auberge to explore the historic Quebec City.

Cool mix between rustic and modern guys! If you go too far in one direction, you lose me LOL. I have seen a few posts covering Quebec City recently. Seems like a sensational homage to Europe and France in general. Rocking post!
