There is no better way to describe The Guesthouse Hotel than as your home away from home in Chicago. As soon as we set foot into our two bedroom suite, we did not want to leave! The suite features a master bedroom, regular bedroom, a second bathroom, a gourmet kitchen and open living room. Each room also has its own private balcony with a gas grill.
Although there are many fine restaurants in the neighborhood, a full kitchen in the room means you can prepare your own meals or snacks, without having to worry about getting ready to go out. Just having some ice cold water to enjoy on a hot day is enough for us.
Most importantly for us frequent travelers, our suite includes an in-room washer and dryer, with some detergent provided. There is no need to overpack for your trip to Chicago as you can head home with more clean clothes than you come with.
Luxury accommodations for all guests
Just because you are on vacation, it does not mean you have to fall out of your daily routines. The Guesthouse hotel offers a small gym with everything you need to complete your daily workout. There is also a small library and sitting area adjacent to the lobby, perfect for enriching your mind whiling relaxing in comfort.

With comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of shade to protect you from the warm sun, you can enjoy an amazing view of the Chicago skyline. The most important aspect of any hotel is being dog-friendly so Gordo can enjoy traveling with ease. At The Guesthouse Hotel, they are not just dog friendly, many of the staff are dog owners and are excited to see new visiting dogs walk through the front door.
Your dog will fall in love immediately, with a bowl of dog treats right at the check in counter. Gordo was happy to just stay in the lobby and enjoy the treats all day! Making our way into the room Gordo was wagging his tail in happiness to find a plush dog bed and a bowl of water waiting for him.
