The American Theater

In this theater is where Noah and Allie went on a double date for their first date. The building no longer serves as a theater but now it is a popular event venue in the city.

King Street

Where Noah and Allie lie down to watch the traffic light. The exact location where they lie down was in front of the American Theatre. The production team had to install a traffic light as there is no traffic light in reality.

College of Charleston

Located in the heart of the city, this campus was where the college scenes of Allie were recorded. 

Noah and Allie take a stroll down Mount Pleasant's historic Pitt Street to the Old Village Post house for ice cream. This location was the film's fictional town of Seabrook, South Carolina.

Broad Street

This street is where Noah dismounts a moving bus to chase his love, Allie. 

Boone Hall

It is not only the America’s oldest living and working plantations but it was also the exterior of Allie’s summer home. Remember when Noah hit the gate with his truck? It was right by that iron gate! 

Calhoun Mansion

The Calhoun Mansion set the stage of the interior of the house of Allie. 

Martin’s Point Plantation

It is a private residence and also the home that Noah repaired in the movie. It is not open to the public. They do not like people taking photos or tracking this house down, so please stay away from it out of respect for the owners. 

Cypress Gardens

It is where Noah and Allie went paddling through the swamp filled with swans. Did you know that it was recorded during alligator hibernation period and that the swans are not originally from there? The swans were brought a month prior to train them for the director to tell them how to behave. 

William Aiken House

This is the house where Allie hears about Noah and has a meltdown in the bathtub. It was also used for the wedding dress fitting scene.

The scene where Noah looks through the window and finds Allie dinning with her fiancé was filmed at the High Cotton Restaurant.

Awesome town and great review guys. We vacationed in Charleston more than a few times. Lots of fun things to do, warm weather, warmer people and of course the food down there sticks to your ribs. Brilliant spot.
